====== Read your mail in Android ======
This guide is suitable for both the Gmail and the Email applications.
Other email applications are probably similar.

Replace //usern// with your user name and //User Name// with your name.

There are several ways to get to the account creation screen:
  - Open one of the apps. If no account has been configured yet it will prompt you to add an account. If an account already exists, go to //settings// and click //add an account//. Gmail will prompt you for the kind op account, choose //other//. \\ {{:it:mail:android-menu.png?200|}} {{:it:mail:android-0a-gmail.png?200|}}
  - Go to your phone's //settings -> accounts// and add an IMAP-account: \\ {{:it:mail:android-0-settings.png?200|}}

Enter your Scintilla provided email address. \\

Select IMAP as your account type.
This screen is not shown when you have selected an IMAP account in accounts. \\

Enter your password. \\

Enter the incoming server settings as shown. \\

Enter the outgoing server settings as shown. \\

Set the account options to your likings (defaults shown). \\

Enter your name for outgoing messages. \\

After clicking //next// the setup of your account is completed.
